Hello there, I hope you are well in this digital age!

AI is taking over the internet and it has troubled me for a while. It made me stop writing as I have been pondering where we are heading.

Now, I believe it is our responsibility to keep pockets of human content and to express our Humanness.

I feel it is crucial to keep posting the messy or just untidy, not optimised content. The raw, unapologetic human post. The not polished, not perfect bits. The post with no bullet points and maybe even no specific goals in mind.

Now may be the best time to bring forth the one thing AI can’t beat us to: Feeling the feelings and expressing emotions beyond what machines can ever fathom to understand.

Maybe it is rage you want to express. Rage at the rate we are destroying our only home, our beautiful planet. Maybe it is your optimism you prefer to bring forth, as you find good news that brings you faith into our collective future. Maybe you just want to continue to watch and share videos of puppies, kitties or goofy horses! And All is ok.

Let’s keep on writing or reading the posts that probably don’t even answer the questions that are being raised because its author knows he or she does not have all the answers and wanted to simply bring some thoughts to the table and maybe even raise more questions. It is ok to have to think things through further after reading something online. It is more than ok to not receive and believe a black and white answer and position oneself instantly on one side or the other. It is even healthy to not know, to hesitate, to take time to figure things out.

Yes, AI is taking over the internet but it may be the best time for us, humans, to do the one things that we are best at, which is to simply be humans! The best opportunity to be perfect in our imperfections. To be full of emotions, often contradictory ones. Full of creativity requiring no crafted prompts. Full of inspiration and dreams.

And above all, it is the best time to remember that we, humans, have something that AI is (most likely!) never going to have: love.

So go ahead, dare be your most human self. Go and cherish and love your life and those around you.
