So, I drew a new castle! Do you recognize it?
It is the Vaduz Castle and it is located in Liechtenstein.
The Vaduz castle is the official residence of the Prince of Liechtenstein. Liechtenstein is a micro state tucked between Austria and Switzerland. It is 160 square kilometres (62 square miles) and is a lush valley surrounded by the Alps with green pastures and small towns, including the capital Vaduz, where this castle is located.
You can’t visit the Vaduz castle but I’ve heard that once a year all 37,000 Liechtensteiners are invited to the castle! I may need to move to Liechtenstein!! I’ve only been once but it seemed really nice.
The Vaduz castle has retained a true medieval look and I wasn’t quite sure how my drawing would turn out. Since I’m quite happy with the result, I added it to my postcard collection on RTatW. You can download the high definition version of it freely on www.roadtripsaroundtheworld.com but you do need to subscribe to RTatW newsletter to get the password (if you ask me it’s a pretty cool newsletter!).
Hope you like it!
